Kenya Aid has instituted a vaccination program aimed at reducing the heavy burden of preventable diseases in the region.

The Kenyan Government provides most vaccinations for free, however since previously there were no health facilities in the area vaccinations were not available.

Again, this demonstrates Kenya Aid’s development philosophy of providing a bridge between community need and government capability.
